The biggest youth art festival in Korea, ‘2021 ASYAAF·Asian Students and Young Artists Art Festival’ will be held in Hongik Museum of Art from July 27th to August 22nd.

 

There are new changes in 2021 ASYAAF cosponsored by Chosun Ilbo Inc. and Hongik University. Currently, the homepage is being completed reorganized and preparing to be reformed as an art platform where visitors can buy the work of on/offline participating artists, checking all kinds of news in the art world at a glance.

  

In addition, online sales will continue on the ASYAAF homepage at all times even after the offline exhibition ends. This is an opportunity for young artists to make more sales and visitors can meet the work of ASYAFF anytime and anywhere.

 

This exhibition is divided into two parts: 'ASYAFF' is for young artists who are Asian students at universities and graduate schools under the age of 35, and 'Hidden Artist' is to discover hidden masters in the art world over the age of 36. 500 young artists will be selected, and about 1,000 art works will be displayed.

 

ASYAFF, celebrating its 14 anniversary this year, achieved sales of about 8,200 pieces of work with 380,000 visitors up to now and took its place as a main art fair for young artists.

 

Though the art market is going through a hard time due to COVID-19, ASYAFF will try its best to prepare the exhibition where the artists and visitors all can enjoy art in a safe environment.

- Due to the spread of COVID-19, if the level of social distancing is elevated, and offline exhibition is not possible, all exhibitions and sales will proceed as a non-contact exhibition online.

- For the ASYAFF exhibition, sales charge fee will be incurred for online sales while no sales fee will be charged offline.

- For the Hidden Artists exhibition, charge fee will be incurred for both online and offline sales.
